Electrical connection

An omnipolar disconnector switch must be

installed upstream of the cabinet. This must
have:

• Minimum distance of the contacts of 3
mm.

• Adequate breaking power

The disconnector switch must be placed in a
position that makes it easy to operate in
PT emergency situations (maximum distance of 3
m).
Before connecting the cabinet, ensure that the
supply voltage corresponds to the rating plate
data of the cabinet. To guarantee smooth
operation, the maximum voltage variation must
be between +/- 6% of the nominal value.

Technical features

The identification plate shows the characteristic
technical data of the cabinet. Its position and
the type of data are shown in "Technical
features" ("Fig. 23").
Wiring diagrams, control instrument calibration
lists, installation instructions and copy of the
Declaration of Conformity are available on the
website https://documents.eptarefrigeration.
com.
The sound pressure level generated by the
operation of the cabinet is lower than 70 dB(A).
The cabinet does not cause harmful vibrations.

Loading the product

Energise the cabinet to start its cooling cycle,
by acting on the general disconnector switch
mounted on the wall. After about 2 hours it is
possible to load the cabinet.
The cabinet is suitable to maintain the
temperature of the goods and not lower it; the
foods, therefore, must be introduced inside it
only if already cooled to the respective
temperatures of preservation. Products which
have been heated must never be introduced
into the cabinet.

In the presence of glass fronts on the cabinet, it is
recommended to load the goods when there is no
customer in the sales area.
In loading the goods, ensure that:
• The load is homogeneous in terms of dimension
and quality of the products
• The goods do not obstruct the correct flow of
refrigerated air ("Fig. 24").
• The goods do not exceed the load line ("Fig.
27").
Uniformly distributed maximum permissible load:
• On the bottom level: 90 kg/m

Use of cabinet

Lighting
Cabinet lighting is controlled by a switch on the rear
of the cabinet.
Anti-fog heating element (optional)
The cabinet avails of an anti-condensation ventilation
system of the front glass. In case of excessive
humidity of the environment with fogging of the
glass, an indicator light mounted on the rear control
panel of the cabinet allows to insert an anti-fog
heating element.
The heating element turns off automatically after
one hour of operation (indicator light off). If the need
to use it persists, press the button again.
For changes to the operating time of the heating
element, contact your nearest service centre.
Auxiliary power sockets (optional)
On request, some auxiliary power sockets can be
positioned on the rear part of the cabinet base to
satisfy various user needs.
Inclination of the display shelves
The rear panel inside the cabinet protrudes in some
points so that the display shelves can be inclined in
different positions.
F Never leave upper sliders open or ajar. It is
advisable to often check that all sliders are
closed: you will thus avoid unnecessary
energy consumption and frost build-ups on
the walls and you will also allow better foods
preservation.
