Operating instructions

1.
Pull the handle latch lock up to unlock. Lift the lid to the open position.
WARNING: To avoid injury to persons and/or damage to property, NEVER plug the
Treat Maker into any electrical outlet without first having your chosen 2 MATCHING
upper and lower baking plates properly assembled and locked into position.
Please see "Before Using for the First Time" section of this instruction manual for
complete baking plate removal and assembly instructions.
2. Before baking the first mini cup cakes, mini donuts or waffle sticks of the day, use a pastry
brush or paper towel to apply a generous coat of oil to each of the cavities on the upper
and lower baking plates.
3. Close the lid. Fold the handle latch over the handle. An audible click can be heard as the latch
locks the Treat Maker closed.
4. Plug unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet to preheat. The red POWER ON light will illuminate.
NOTE: When your Treat Baker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor.
This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not affect the safety of
the appliance. However, as it may affect the flavor of the first baked goods prepared in
the Treat Maker, it is recommended that these be discarded.
5. While preheating, prepare batter.
6. After approximately 4 to 5 minutes, the red READY light will illuminate, indicating the unit
is preheated and is ready for use.
