ANNEX
5.1 S
YNOPTIC
This section presents different scenarios that summarize the different states that the synoptic can be in.
Description of the scenarios:
Scenario 1: Normal device operation. Battery connected and charging.
•
Scenario 2: Operation with no mains, with battery. The battery provides power to the output.
•
Scenario 3: Operation with temperature probe disconnected. The device charges the battery and
•
the sensor absence is indicated in the synoptic with "Probe error" in the battery temperature box;
this is also reflected in the LEDs and relays.
Scenario 4: Operation with battery disconnected. The device provides power to the output and the
•
battery relay remains open. The LEDs and relays indicate the absence of the battery.
Scenario 5: Operation upon detection of an overload. The device disconnects the output and opens
•
the battery relay, using the LEDs and relays to indicate that the output voltage is outside the range.
