4.1 Getting started quickly

1: Quick menu. If your DVD Player is turned on and installed correctly (see chapter 3), a startup menu (Quick menu) should
appear. Use this menu for quick installation/adjustment of your DVD Player. The Quick menu asks some quick questions
regarding language preferences, TV model and sound settings.
Note: If a picture does not appear on the screen, control the connection options again.
2: DVD menu. If you have set the DVD Player according to the previous instructions, insert a DVD disc into your
DVD Player. After a brief interval, the Disc menu will appear, where you can use the arrow keys to navigate around
the menu and start the movie. Note: Since this menu is part of the DVD disc, it will vary from disc to disc.
3: DVD Player Setup menu. This menu lets you access a large number of functions/options that are necessary
for setting up the DVD Player. To access this menu, use the (SETUP) button at the bottom right of the remote
control. You can define setup according to your TV model and surround amplifier.

4.2 Navigating the menus of the DVD Player
Picture 1: The menu consists of five main areas on the left side. In the example, we have selected "Video", which turns yellow
when selected.
Picture 2: By pressing OK on "Video", this is clearly indicated by the fade out of the other options, and you can access the sub-
items.
Picture 3: If you select "TV Shape", the box at right will display your options.
Note: To leave a menu, press the same button again. For example, press (SETUP) to start setup and press (SETUP) to leave the
screen again.
