Advanced functions
A number of advanced functions are located in the bottom section of the remote control. These functions are described in the chapter
below.
(STEP)
(AUDIO)
(ZOOM)
(REPEAT)
(CLEAR)
(SRCH)
(STEP)
This function lets you see one frame at a time. The movie stops, and each time you press the (STEP) button, the next
frame will appear. Return to the movie by pressing the (PLAY) button.
(AUDIO)
Change the sound format by pressing the (AUDIO) button. The available sound formats, e.g. 2-channel stereo or 6-
channel stereo, are determined by the movie's producers.
(SUBPIC)
Use this button to change the movie's subtitles. By pressing the (SUBPIC) button, a message will appear in the upper
left corner of the screen stating the number of available languages and the currently selected language. Press the
(SUBPIC) button again to switch to the next available language. The number of available languages are also
determined by the movie's producer.
(ANGLE)
If the movie supports more than one camera angle, you can switch from one camera angle to another by activating
the (ANGLE) button.
(ZOOM)
You can zoom in on individual areas as the movie is running. You can do this when the movie is running or in pause
mode. Activate the function by pressing the (ZOOM) button, and return to the normal picture by pressing the button
repeatedly.
TIP. Use the arrow keys to move around the enlarged screen picture.
(REPEAT)
As the movie is playing, if you press the (REPEAT) button, three options will appear on the screen.
MODE: Shuffle (random chapter playing) or Off (deactivated)
Repeat: Lets you decide whether to repeat the section or the movie.
Repeat AB: Use this function to specify a starting point A and an ending point B, and the sequence will be played
until you turn off the function, which is done by pressing the (REPEAT) button and switching the menu to the off
position.
