16 - 101
PREPARATION
* Remove the two tie-down rings.
ASSEMBLY
* Place the right fitting "B" on the rail at points X
with screw set X, do not tighten.
* Put in place the hitch unit "A" and attach it to points Y
with screw set Y by lightly tightening.
* Attach the hitch to the left rail at points X with screw set X.
* Gently tighten the screw assembly once it is in place.
* With the help of a scribe awl, mark the location of the 2 holes W
(One on the left and one on the right) on the side of the rail.
* Remove the hitch assembly from the vehicle.
* In order to drill holes W, remove the rear wheels, drill 12-diameter holes through the rails.
* Enlarge holes Y to 17.5mm on the outer side of the rails only.
* Put in place the cross bars C of the screw set W.
* Put the hitch assembly back by attacing to the anchor points X and W.
* Fasten screw sets X, W and Y in the locations indicated below.
* Only assemble the ball support D after finishing, using screw set Z.
FINISHING
* Make sure that all screws are properly tightened as indicated below.
