RECOMMENDATIONS
Location of thermostats: given that the thermostats measure the temperature of each
zone, we recommend that:
·
Thermostats should be fixed to the walls of the premises 1,5 m. from the floor and
in an area free from draughts and hotspots. Particular care should be taken to
ensure that the air-shaft that comes from the discharge outputs does not have a
direct impact on the thermostat.
·
If the thermostats are not fixed on walls, they should be clearly marked in order to
indicate the zone that they are assigned to. A thermostat governs the zone that it
has been assigned to. If the thermostat is moved to another room it will continue to
govern the original room.
·
Avoid obstructing the ventilation holes of the thermostat which are found at the
top and bottom of it: if not the temperature of the premises will not be measured
accurately. Do not leave the thermostat in a drawer, cupboard or other place which
would impede the free circulation of air through it.
·
In the case of a failure in the electricity feed the control will reset itself automatically
15 minutes after the electricity supply is re-established on the control panel.
