Unpacking and Setup

Remove the Piccolo xpress chemistry analyzer from its shipping carton.

Place the analyzer on a level surface that is free of hair, dust, and

other contaminants. Do not place the analyzer near a sunny window or
any other heat source. Make sure the analyzer is at least 20 cm away
from any wall to provide adequate ventilation and access to the power
connection, Ethernet and USB ports.
Check the components received with the Piccolo xpress against the

following figure to make sure you have everything required to set up
the analyzer.

Note:
The shipping carton also includes following items:
USB cable, Abaxis Driver CD, Multilingual Operator's
Manual CD, warranty card, and accessory kit.
Complete the warranty card and mail it to Abaxis within 10 days

to start the warranty period.
Open the printer cover.

Unwrap the paper roll, then unroll several centimeters.

7 Put the paper into the printer so that it unrolls from the bottom
towards the front of the analyzer as shown. Make sure several
centimeters of paper extend out of the printer slot.
Press the cover closed until it locks into place.

Pull gently on the end of the paper until it is taut.
