Event Log
The event log provides a detailed account of mixer activity from the moment
the mixer is powered on. The log collects up to 1,000 activity entries for the
mixer, and time-stamps them relative to the last power cycle.
To troubleshoot audio or hardware problems, press Save Log to export
to a computer file. Refer to the log file for details when troubleshooting or
consulting with Shure Systems Support.
The log categorizes entries into Events, Warnings and Errors:
• Events: An action has been successfully completed.
• Warnings: An action can not be completed, though overall mixer
functionally is stable.
• Errors: A problem has occurred that could inhibit the mixer's functionality.
This corresponds to error messages that flash on the front-panel LEDs.
Viewing the Event Log
To view the event log:
1. Open the Preferences tab of the GUI.
2. Select the Event Log hyperlink on the bottom left of the Preferences
panel. The log is located with the device's DNS name: <device URL>/
eventlog/.
The equipment is intended to be used in professional audio applications.
Note: This device is not intended to be connected directly to a public
internet network.

Front-Panel Error Messages
An error message is generated on the Channel LED rings when operating or
environmental conditions occur that could potentially harm the mixer. These
types of messages indicate the mixer has experienced a critical failure.
Before calling Shure System Support, try these basic debugging tools:
1. Open the Event Log and press Save Log to export the file to your
computer.
2. Power cycle the device by switching the power button off and on again.
3. Reset the device to factory default settings. This will clear all
configurations made to the mixer.
4. Download the latest firmware from Shure.com and load it to the device.
5. If the error message persists, contact a Shure support representative for
your region.
Device Overheating Message
One example of an error message is the Device Overheating message.
This appears on the channel LEDs in the following pattern as illustrated
in the drawing. For this message, it is recommended that the device be
immediately cooled down to avoid permanent damage. If the problem
persists, follow the steps listed above to try to clear the message.
