Problem
The lifting device is moving
upwards or downwards
without affecting the ma-
noeuvre handle.
The lifting device starts but
cannot be operated.
The lifting device can oper-
ate upwards but not
downwards.
8 General information and safety
Possible cause
The signal to the manoeu-
vre handle is not calibrated.
The rope has tangled.
Internal fault. Indicated by
a light switching quickly be-
tween red and yellow.
The tilt check has detected
an angel too large and stop-
ped the rope ejection to
minimise the risk for rope
tangle.
The slack rope check has
detected that the rope is to
slack and stopped the rope
ejection to minimize the
risk for rope tangle.
Action
Make sure that the ma-
noeuvre handle has free
movement.
Turn off the lifting device.
Remove the battery
Install the battery.
Don't touch the manoeuvre
handle and push the on/off-
button and hold it around
15 seconds until the battery
lamp flashes green two
times and three beeps are
heard.
The signal to the manoeu-
vre handle is now
calibrated.
Remove the battery and un-
tangle the rope or cut it off
and replace it with a new
rope. Review the condition
of the rope if it has tangled,
a damaged or worn rope
should be replaced.
Remove the battery for ten
seconds and then put it
back in the lifting device.
Wait and push the green
button, if the fault remains,
the lifting device must be
repaired.
Reduce the tilt on the lifting
devise to less than 45°
Operate the lifting device
slowly upwards until the
rope is tight.
