Operating Coding Selection "A" e "B" (via Jumper J2) - Fig. 19 and 21
The photocell has two operating channels coded "A" and "B", Fig. 21.
Pay special care to ensure that the codings are the same way on both the
transmitter and the receiver.
Operation coding "A" or "B" is carried out with jumper "J2":
• J2 position 1-2: Coding operation B.
• J2 position 2-3: Coding operation A (factory settings).
Transmitter-Receiver alignment check
The LED 1 on the receiver (Fig. 19) indicates when the pair of photocells
is aligned.
LED 1 remains permanently illuminated when the infrared beam is aligned
and switches off when it is interrupted.
Checking the quality of the received signal (LED 2)
The LED 2 on the receiver (Fig. 19) flashes according to the quality of the
signal received from the paired transmitter.
The number of flashes is proportional to the intensity of the received
signal:
• four flashes = optimum signal.
• one flash = inadequate signal.
TESTING
Test for the correct operation of the photocells.
BOARD REPLACEMENT
If required, replace the board as shown in Figure 13.
