Configuration (Standalone)
Set the product in one of the standalone modes to control without a DMX controller.
Never connect a product that is operating in any standalone mode to a DMX string
connected to a DMX controller. Products in standalone mode may transmit DMX signals
that could interfere with the DMX signals from the controller.
Automatic Programs
To run the Swarm Wash FX ILS with an automatic program, follow the instructions below.
1. Press <MENU> repeatedly until P-- shows on the display.
2. Press <ENTER>.
3. Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select the desired program, from P 1–15. (see Programs)
4. Press <ENTER>.
5. Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select the program mode, from FAdE (fading) or SnAP (quick change).
6. Press <ENTER>.
Automatic Program Speed
To set the automatic program speed of the Swarm Wash FX ILS, do the following:
1. Press <MENU> repeatedly until S-- shows on the display.
2. Press <ENTER>.
3. Use <UP> or <DOWN> to increase or decrease the speed, from S 1–99 (slow to fast).
4. Press <ENTER>.
Sound-Active Programs
To run the Swarm Wash FX ILS with a sound-active program, follow the instructions below.
1. Press <MENU> repeatedly until Snd shows on the display.
2. Press <ENTER>.
3. Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select the desired program, from Sn 1–15. (see Programs)
4. Press <ENTER>.
5. Turn the music on and adjust the sound sensitivity knob until the product starts responding to the
beat of the music.
•
The product will only respond to low frequencies of music (bass and drums).
•
The laser will black out when in Sound-Active mode after 3 seconds of silence or noise
below the sensitivity setting.
