Basic operation

In order to protect the speakers, follow the steps below when turning
on and off the system to which this unit is connected.
Turning the power on

Turn the audio source device on.

Turn the preamp power on and minimize its
volume.

Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn this unit
on.
After turning the unit on, the power indicator will blink blue and
no sound will be output for a few seconds. Wait until the power
indicator stops blinking and stays lit before adjusting the volume
and conducting other operations.

Turning the power off

If an audio source device is playing back, stop
playback.

Minimize the preamplifier volume.

Put this unit into standby.

Turn the preamplifier off.

Turn the audio source device off.
o To assure safety, always disconnect the power plug from the out-
let when cleaning the unit and when traveling or otherwise not
using the unit for a long time.
