Caution! The blender
blade is sharp.
∙ If the blade is heavily
soiled, clean it with a brush.
∙ Wipe the upper part of the
blender unit with a damp
cloth.
∙ Make sure that no water
runs into the drive shaft
of the blender unit!
Intended Use
∙ The appliance is only intended for
mixing food.
∙ Only use the appliance with the
associated blender.
∙ Any other use not mentioned in the
instructions is considered improper use
and could result in serious injury or
damage to the appliance.
Before using for the first time
∙ Remove all remaining packaging
material and any promotional stickers
from the appliance. The nameplate must
not be removed.
∙ Clean the appliance as described in the
Cleaning and Care section.
Short-time operation
∙ The appliance is designed for
processing normal household quantities.
It can be used for up to 1 minute
continuously with all switch settings. The
motor must then cool down for at least
3 minutes.
Switching functions
The hand blender is equipped with two
push buttons:
∙ Operating button
For all mixing work in the medium speed
range.
∙ Operating button TURBO:
For mixing work where a high-speed
range is required (e.g. milkshakes).
Handling
∙ Place the blender unit on the drive unit
so that
on the drive unit and
the blender unit are facing each other.
Then lock so that

∙ Always use a suitable container for
operation. A tall container with a flat
base is best.
∙ Dip the blender unit into the filled
mixture before the hand blender is
switched on.
∙ Make sure that the unit can rotate freely
inside the bowl and is not blocked during
operation.
∙ As soon as the buttons
released, the hand blender is switched
off. Wait for the motor to stop before
removing the blender from the food to
be mixed.
∙ After use, pull the mains plug and
remove the food mixed.
