Installation
4.2
Hydraulical connection
•
To use the device (AKZ) two separate hydraulic circuits are required.
•
If the truck loading crane has only one control circuit, this one control circuit can be divided into two by installing an
electromagnetic switching valve (ELMV).
•
If the truck loading crane has two separate control circuits, the hydraulic hoses coming from the loading crane are
connected to the four screw-in fittings located at the head of the torque motor.
•
According to the hydraulic circuit diagram, a valve block is installed in the circuit of "Open device" and "Close device",
which via a pilot-controlled non-return valve prevents the stone packs from slipping out of the gripper in the event of
a pressure drop.
•
As a visual warning device in the event of a pressure drop, a manometer with orientation to the operator station is
installed.
•
The two external connections serve to operate the clamp, the internal connections to operate the rotator. The
hydraulic hoses (forward and return flow) must be connected accordingly.
•
Two screw connections are also attached to the pin of the torque motor, to which two hydraulic hoses are
connected, which lead to the valve block on the clamp.
•
When connecting the hydraulic system, make sure that the connecting hoses have no friction points
and that they do not hook into protruding edges during the lifting and lowering movement and could
therefore break off.
•
The supply values must be maintained to ensure that the unit functions correctly and reliably.
•
On all units supplied without a rotator, a hydraulic hose with dummy plugs is connected to port "B"
(return flow) of the valve block.
•
By means of this hose the pressurised hydraulic oil, which is still in the cylinder, can be drained into a
container.
•
Remove the blind plug only above the tank! The hose can then be unscrewed so that the hydraulic
connections can be realised.
It is pointed out again that to avoid faults and malfunctions, the correct connection of the hydraulic hoses
must be checked before each start-up of the machine!
