Setup

Place the charger on a horizontal, hard surface.
• Keep the charger ventilation slots clear of any
obstructions. Do not place the charger on a soft
surface which could block the bottom ventilation
slots. The charger generates internal heat during
charging.
• Keep the charger away from any heat source.
Excessive internal heating can ruin the charger.
Failure to observe these warnings could cause the
generation of excessive heat or fire and result in
severe injury or death.
115 VAC / 230 VAC Charger
Plug the charger cord into a grounded wall receptacle.
Coil and wrap the unused power cord length with the
hook-and-loop tie strap.
12 VDC Charger
• Make sure the vehicle's electrical system is able
to supply the power required by the nameplate
rating. The vehicle's electrical system could be
overloaded, and the vehicle battery may run down
if not sized properly.
• In order for the charger's RECONDITIONING
cycle to work without interruption, the charger's
input power should not be turned off by the
vehicle's ignition switch. See the Operation and
Troubleshooting sections for details.
