The "Gray Scale White Hot" and "Gray Scale Black Hot" color
palettes offer "source of the fire" colorization: Only the pixels of a
scene which are saturated (i.e. the source of the fire) will be displayed
in red indicating the hot spot of a scene. This feature can be used to
look for pockets of ember or other hot spots.
"TempColor" is the standard color palette setting. When the thermal
imaging camera is switched on and neither the firefighting mode nor
the ThermalScan feature is activated, you can toggle between the
different color palettes as follows:
Press the MODE button for more than 1.5 seconds.
The thermal image will be displayed in another color palette.
Each time you press the MODE button for more than 1.5 seconds,
the thermal imaging camera selects the next color palette.
When the thermal imaging camera switches to the firefighting mode,
the standard color palette "TempColor" is used regardless of the
selected color palette.
When the camera returns to normal mode again, the previously
selected color palette will be shown again.
ThermalScan feature (optional)
This feature is only available in normal mode. When the thermal
imaging camera switches to firefighter mode, the "TempColor" color
palette is used as a standard.
When the ThermalScan feature is activated, all the objects which are
hotter than the set threshold are displayed in yellow (see also
page 374). No other color palette can be selected.
The ThermalScan buttons are only active if the thermal imaging
camera is turned on and not in stand-by mode.
