(3) To install the dust extractor system, insert the dust
extractor system's rail into the adapter's rail slot and
press until a click is heard. (Fig. 5)

CAUTION
First install the adapter to the tool and then
install the dust extractor system.
If the adapter is fi rst attached to the dust
extractor system, the latch is locked, and the
dust extractor system cannot be installed to the
tool. Also, doing so can result in damage, drop or
injury. (Fig. 6)

<Removing the dust extractor system>
(1) Hold the dust extractor system's slider in one hand
and remove the dust extractor system with the other
hand by using the index fi nger to slide the button at
the rear of the unit. (Fig. 7)

(2) Press the latches on both sides and pull the pin from
the hole to remove the adapter. (Fig. 8)

(3) Remove the cap from the adapter and attach it to the
