Operation and technical specification
3.1
Operating the machine
The FLOOR CLEANER is a professional machine designed for
cleaning, washing and drying smooth floors. It distributes a cleaning
solution on the floor, which is then brushed with a rotating brush to
remove the dirt. By choosing an appropriate detergent and brush with
different fibres, the machine can be adapted to various types of floor and
dirt. The suction system then vacuums the water, detergent and dirt up,
leaving the freshly washed floor dry.
The machine consists of the following elements:
Welded folded steel chassis;
Internal brush;
Suction motor;
Brush rotation motor;
Squeegee system
Water and detergent solution tank;
Dirt collection tank.
Operator handlebar with controls.
The FLOOR CLEANER is available in the 400 EL version with
electric motors powered directly from the mains and in the 400 BA
version with electric motors powered by two 12 V batteries.
Externally there are no differences and both models resemble the
following figure.
In the manual, the sides of the machine will be referred to from the
point of view of the operator holding the handlebar with controls.
3.2
Conditions of use
The FLOOR CLEANER has been designed to perform the functions
described in section of this manual only. The machine must be used
in environments conforming to those described in section on
admissible environmental values.

Safety parameters

4.1
Relevant technical regulations
The machine has been designed in accordance with
community regulations on machine safety.
4.2
Residual risks
In normal working conditions, there are no residual risks.
There are, however, residual risks always present during normal
working conditions exclusively in danger zones where access is
prevented by means of fixed or interlocked guards. These guards
must under no circumstances be removed while the machine is in
operation. Guards on transmission components may be temporarily
removed in order to carry out adjustments or routine or extraordinary
maintenance (for extraordinary maintenance, always contact a
professional service centre). The residual risks arising under these
conditions may be eliminated by adopting certain procedures. When
using the machine, the operator must hold the handlebar within
reach of all operating controls and with an adequate view of the path
of the machine in order to avoid impact with obstacles (danger of
tipping over) and people (injury to persons).
4.3
Noise
Noise emitted 400 EL: < 83 dBA
Noise emitted 400 BA: < 79 dBA
4.4
Vibrations
The vibrations produced are minimal and do not represent a source
of danger for the operator. The levels have, however, been
determined in accordance with ISO 5349.
No particular procedures must be adopted in order to
safeguard the operator from the effects of the vibrations
