Please take the time to carefully read the following warnings and recommendations, which
are provided to keep your child safe whilst in their bed and maintain safe and proper use.
REMEMBER: YOUR BABY'S SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
ASSEMBLY AND USE:
WARNING! Do not use the child's bed if any part is broken,
torn, or missing, and use only spare parts supplied or
approved by the manufacturer. DO NOT substitute parts.
Contact Snüz for replacement parts and instructional
literature if needed.
WARNING! Do not place this child's bed near heat sources,
windows and other furniture.
WARNING! Be aware of the risk of open fire and other
sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires
etc. in the near vicinity of the child's bed.
Ensure the child's bed is placed at a reasonable distance
from curtains, blinds, heaters, and power points.
WARNING! Do not leave anything in the child's bed or
place the child's bed close to another product which could
provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or
strangulation, e.g., strings, blind/curtain cords, etc.
WARNING! To prevent the child's neck from being caught,
do NOT use or assemble the wooden arches and material
canopy when in cot mode, and when the cot side panels
are fitted.
WARNING! Do not suspend objects from the wooden
arches when this product is used as a child's bed. Items
with cords; light chains, bunting or other decorative cords
may pose risk of entanglement or strangulation.
WARNING! To avoid risk of injury from falls, never allow
children to climb, hang or swing from the wooden arches
of the cot bed.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
WARNING! All assembly fittings should always be tightened
properly, and fittings should be checked regularly and
retightened as necessary.
1. Regularly hand tighten all screws, avoiding over-
tightening as this may cause cross-threading and damage.
2. Take care to ensure that no screws or fixings are loose, as
this could endanger a child and they could trap parts of the
body or clothing which would pose a risk of strangulation.
3. This product is made using natural materials and may be
affected by extremely dry, humid, or damp conditions.
4. Clean with a warm, slightly damp cloth. Do not use
abrasives or harsh detergents.
5. Follow guidance provided with the mattress for it's
cleaning method.
1. In child's bed mode, the mattress base must always be in
the lowest position.
2. Do not allow pets or other children to be left unattended
near the child's bed.
3. Situate your child's bed on hard, dry, level surfaces.
4. The product should only be used for the purpose for
which the product is intended.
5. This product is suitable for use by a single child from
approximately 18 months up to 4 years old.
6. Children are likely to play, bounce, jump and climb on
beds, therefore the child's bed should not be placed too
close to other furniture or windows, blind cords, curtain
pulls or other strings or cords, and should be placed either
tight to any wall or have a gap of 300 mm between the wall
and the side of the child's bed.
7. The child's bed is designed to be dismantled for storage
or transportation. Please retain all fixings and keep away
from small children.
8. When moving your product, carefully lift into place.
Never drag or push the product across the floor as this will
cause damage to the joints and could result in failure to the
product.
6. The material canopy can be removed, and machine
washed according to the care label.
MATTRESS:
WARNING! Keep away from fire.
WARNING! Do not use more than one mattress in the
child's bed.
1. The recommended mattress size for the child's bed is
700 mm x 1400 mm, with a MAX thickness of 100 mm.
2. Ensure the internal dimensions of the furniture are no
greater than 20 mm larger than the length and width of
your mattress.
3. We advise against using sleep positioners with this
product. As per the Lullaby Trust guidelines we recommend
a firm, flat mattress is used.
