timing and when it reaches 10 years the unit will give end-of-life warning. You
have to replace the product when this warning is given.
End-of-life warning will be made at least once every minute. If the detector is
powered on or off frequently, it may cause timing error. So please don't power
on or off the detector frequently. And please often check the product's manu-
facturing date, to see whether it has expired.
Important:
When you hear three quick beeps at intervals, it means end of unit life. Please
replace the product with a new one immediately.
IV. Alarm silence
When the detector is in alarm condition and the CO concentration is less than
200 PPM, press and hold the TEST button to silence the alarm. Alarm silence
condition is the same as alarm condition except the buzzer doesn't beep tempo-
rarily. The Alarm indicator still flashes. Alarm silence condition lasts less than 10
minutes. Press the TEST button in alarm silence condition, to go back to Alarm
condition.
