USE AND OPERATION

Note: Before dismantling the device or attaching accessories, always
switch the device off and remove the batteries first.

Upper rod (15)
If you change the length of the bar, note that the conical sleeve (19) with the
thinner end should point to the to the thinner end of the closure (20).
1. To connect both rods to each other, set the closure nut (24) onto the upper
rod (15) so that the notches at the end of the rod are secure. Now place the
conical sleeve (19) in the closure (20) and screw it lightly to the threaded ring
(24). Now insert the lower rod (18) in the closure. So that the cable does not
hang loose, turn the lower bar several times until the cable is wrapped around
the rod part.
2. To adjust the length, turn the closure cap clockwise. Set the desired length and
then tighten the cap counterclockwise.
3. To adjust the angle of the search ring (23), loosen the adjustment screw
(21/22), set the angle and tighten the screw again. The angle must be set so
that the ring is parallel to the ground when you are holding the device (8/10).
4. If necessary, change the length and angle to find the correct position.
