Closing the canopy

CAUTION
Danger of injury from tipping over
Lack of care can cause the parasol to tip over on account of its high weight.
Two people are required to install the parasol.

The base must be heavy enough to prevent the parasol from tipping over in high winds when closed.

Property damage from abrasion of the parasol fabric
Permanent fluttering in the wind can damage the parasol fabric due to abrasion against the ribs. Claims for
compensation cannot be asserted against CARAVITA for this type of damage.
Always secure the closed canopy using the strap.

3 Grasp the traction cable under the cover.
4 Pull the traction cable until the parasol fabric is taut.
5 Insert the locking pin through one of the holes in the pole.
The parasol should be easy to open.
6 Wind the loose end of the traction cable around the cleat.
