c)
adjust preset pressure using a normal tyre pressure gauge and tyre pump at
the valve at the end of the tank.
CAUTION! The internal bladder is initially pumped to 0.7 bar (10 psi). Before
use adjust air pressure in the tank 0.2 bar (3 psi) below water pump switch
pressure.
Check pressure at regular intervals. To check pressure in the tank:
a) switch off water pump supply;
b) unscrew the tap to reduce pressure;
c)
check pressure in the tank and adjust, if necessary;
d) close the tap and switch on the pump supply.
HOW DOES THE ACCUMULATOR TANK OPERATE?
1) After the pump has been activated, water flow inside the tank. The system is
topped up at maximum pressure. The pump deactivates.
2) If water demand occurs, pressure in the air header discharges water to the
system. The pump remains off until minimum pressure is reached. Then it is
switched on and runs until cut-out pressure is reached.
3.3. Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION!
a)
Maintain and clean the pump and the connected appliances at regular
intervals.
b)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
c)
Do not clean with any sharp and/or metal implements (e.g. a wire brush or a
metal scraper) as these may damage the surface of the appliance.
d)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical products, thinners, fuel,
oil or other chemicals as they may damage it.
Reduce air pressure before disassembly!
