Special safety instructions
The weed burner may only be used as a
weed burner and to light barbecue charcoals
and briquettes.
Never point at people, animals, expensive,
fragile or in� ammable objects.
Do not use the weed burner on patios or
other surfaces that cannot tolerate the
powerful heat generated by the weed
burner.
The surface may become hot in the areas
treated. Always wear suitable footwear to
avoid burning your feet!

The hot air nozzle and weed nozzles get
very hot during use. Avoid touching them
before they have cooled and never place
the weed burner near in� ammable objects
immediately after use.
Always hold the edge of the nozzle between
1 and 5 cm from the weed.
Do not use near in� ammable liquids or gases
or where there is poor ventilation.
Keep the hot air nozzle, nozzles and
ventilation slots clear of dust, plants and
leaves to avoid danger of � re.
Do not use in wet or damp conditions. Do
not use in the rain.
Use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use with a suitable cable cross-section. Roll
out the extension cord completely before
switching the weed burner on.
The appliance may be used by children
over 8 years old and people with reduced
sensitivity, or a physical or mental disability,
as long as they are supervised or have been
instructed in use of the appliance in a safe
manner and thus understand the associated
risks. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must
not be carried out by children unless they are
supervised.
Do not use in the same spot for a prolonged
period.
Be aware that heat can be transferred to
combustible materials that are not visible.
Do not leave the product unattended while
it is lit.
