FAN HEATER
This product is only suitable for well
insulated spaces or occasional use.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST
Austria complies with the recognized technical
directives and legal regulations for safety.
Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before
using this appliance for the first time and keep
them for further reference.
• This product has not been designed for any
other uses than those specified in this manual.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power
source, check if the voltage indicated on the
appliance corresponds with the mains voltage
in your home. If this is not the case, contact
your dealer and do not use the appliance.
• If the appliance is grounded (protection class I),
the wall outlet and any extension to which it is
connected must also be grounded.
• Do not operate or place any part of this
appliance on or near any hot surface (such as
gas or electric burner or a heated oven).
• Ensure that the appliance is used on a firm and
flat surface out of reach of children, this will
prevent from overturning and avoid damage
or injury.
• Do not use the product near gas sources or
other flammable materials or objects.
• Keep a safe distance from furniture and other
objects.
• Do not point the fan heater directly at furniture
or other objects.
• Keep the back of the unit at least 30 cm away
from walls or objects to ensure free airflow.
• The appliance must not be exposed to
dripping or splashing water. Do not place any
water containers (such as vases) next to or on
top of the appliance.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this appliance or cordset in any
liquids.
• If the appliance or the power cord shows any
signs of damage, do not operate it! Take the
product to an authorized and qualified service
center for inspection or repair.
• Do not block or cover the air inlets and outlets
in any way!
• Do not place flammable material (paper, cloth,
etc.) on or near the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance is switched off before
plugging in or unplugging the device.
• This device is intended for home use only, do
not use it commercially.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it
is operating.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate
vicinity of a bathtub, a shower or a swimming
pool.
• This appliance heats up during use. To avoid
burns, do not touch hot surfaces.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of a
malfunction.
• As long as the appliance is hot, it should be
supervised, even if it is not connected to the
mains. Allow the appliance to cool down fully
before cleaning and storing it.
• Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• The appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages that
may arise if the appliance is used for purposes
other than originally intended or if it is used
inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on the unit
must only be done by authorised specialist
personnel!

OPERATION
Set up and switch on:
1. Place the fan heater on a level, flat surface.
2. Connect the fan heater to the power outlet.
3. Turn on the power switch on the back of the
fan heater.
4. In standby mode, the display shows the current
room temperature.
5. To start the fan heater, press the [ON/OFF]
button. The default heating mode is "low
heating power".
Mode selection:
Press the [
] button (repeatedly) to switch
between the different modes...
High heating power
The heating power is around 2000 W
(2 heating indicators light up on the display)
Low heating power
The heating power is around 1400 W
(1 heating indicator lights up on the display)
Fan only mode
Only the fan is running, no heating.
Temperature selection:
Press the [+]/[-] buttons to select the desired room
temperature.
The temperature can be set from 10 to 49°C in 1°C
steps.
In this smart mode the heater will regulate the
heating element between low, high and off
automatically to maintain the set temperature.
However, the fan will continue to run in any case.
Oscillation function:
Press the [OSC] button to start or stop the
oscillation function.
Timer function:
Press the [TIMER] button (repeatedly) to set a time
after which the heater turns off automatically.
The timer can be set from 0 to 8 hours in 1h steps.
Selecting 0 deactivates the timer.
Remote Control: (Fig. B)
Use a CR2025 (3 V) battery for the remote control.
All functions that can be performed with the
remote control are identical to those on the
control panel of the fan heater.
SAFETY FEATURES
Overheat protection:
The fan heater is equipped with an overheating
protection. Overheating generally occurs only if
one of the openings of the fan heater is covered,
blocked or clogged. In case of overtemperature
inside the unit, the heater will switch off. In this
case, unplug the fan heater from the power outlet
and remove any objects blocking the grids. Allow
the unit to cool down for about 30 minutes before
using it again. Should the problem persist, please
contact the customer service.
Tip-over safety switch:
The fan heater is equipped with a tip-over
safety switch that will shut off the fan heater
immediately if it tips over to prevent potential fire
hazards.
Note: After the heater has been switched off, the
fan continues to run during cooling phase until it
switches off.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the appliance from power and
allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance or power cord in
water. Do not let the electrical parts come into
contact with moisture.
• Wipe the heater with a soft damp cloth.
