THE SAFETY WARNINGS ARE THOROUGHLY READ AND THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED
THEREIN ARE STRICTLY FOLLOWED.
THE ELECTRICAL DEVICE SHALL NOT BE WET, NOR MAY IL BE USED IN ANY WET ROOMS.
GAS AND VAPOUR EMISSIONS ARE HARMFUL TO YOUR HEALTH. THOROUGHLY AIR THE WORKPLACE.
DO NOT TOUCH THE PLATE WHEN IT IS HOT. LEAVE IT TO COOL BEFORE REPLACING THE DEVICE.
DO NOT USE THE TOOL NEAR ANY GASES OR FLAMMABLE MATERIALS.
DO NOT USE THE TOOL IN ANY ROOMS WHERE THERE IS DANGER OF FIRE OR EXPLOSION.
Comply with the mains voltage!
The voltage reported on the tool plate shall match the voltage of the supply mains.
Do not leave the device unattended; keep out of reach of children and animals.
Tips
lf the plug of the device does not fit into the socket, have the plug replaced with a suitable one by
trained personnel. lt is generally recommended that no adapters and/or extensions should be used. lf
any adapters and/or extensions need to be used, use single or multiple adapters and extensions
complying with current safety standards.
This polywelder shall be used only for the purpose it has been designed for, namely tor pipes and
fittings made from thermoplastic materials. Any other application will be deemed to be improper and,
consequently, dangerous. The polywelder is provided with an earth plate; electrical safety is
guaranteed only when the plate is properly connected to an effective earthing system in accordance
with current safety standards.
In order to prevent dangerous overheating, it is recommended that the lead is unwound completely.
Disconnect the plug from the supply mains whenever the heating plate is not used.
Do not twist or knot the lead; do not wind it round the heating plate if the latter is still hot.
A notice warning about the danger will be affixed near the heated area.
The handle of the polywelder is made from a suitable material which does not absorb the temperature
of the nearby plate or absords it to such an extent as not to exceed permitted and/or dangerous limits.
