1. Refer to "Periodic Maintenance" on page 4
2. Coat the pump housing, impeller, shaft, and seal with a general purpose oil.
3. Reassemble the pump.
4. Store in a dry place.
Troubleshooting
Problem
No water flow from
pump
Low water flow from
the pump
Pump runs intermit-
tently
Probable Causes
There is no power to
pump
The pump is not priming
The pump intake is
blocked
The pump is not large
enough
The flow control valve is
mis-adjusted
The pump is too hot
for cleaning.
Corrective Action
Connect the pump to power.
Ensure that the inlet of the pump is below the water sur-
face.
Remove debris blocking the intake screen or impeller.
Select a larger capacity pump.
Turn the flow control valve until the desired flow is
reached.
Check to see that no debris is clogging the suction port.
