t)
When the battery is fully charged, switch off the charger, then unplug the cables from the battery in the
u)
following order: first, unhook the clamp on the pole with the same polarity as the vehicle's body (usually
negative, although some car models have positive polarity).
Before charging the battery, always check that its capacity corresponds to the specifications in the
v)
technical data table for the charger model.
Always remove the cell covers and verify the electrolyte level before charging a servicing battery. The
w)
fluid in the cells should cover the battery plates. If the fluid level is too low, follow the instructions and
recommendations of the battery manufacturer. Use caution, electrolyte is highly corrosive and can
cause serious injury when in contact with skin.
Keep the clamps clean. Dirty clamps can make it difficult or impossible to charge the battery. In addition,
x)
always check the battery status to ensure that the clamp connection area is clean.
Avoid contact between the clamps when the charger is turned on.
y)
Do not start the vehicle engine while the charger is charging the battery. Disconnecting the battery

Further charging of a charged battery may cause gassing of the liquid it is filled with as evidenced by the
