Maintenance and Cleaning:

In addition to the weekly test, the sen-
sor must be regularly cleaned of dust, dirt
and debris. Clear the alarm at least once a
month.
Using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush,
vacuum all sides of the alarm. Make sure all
holes are free of dirt.
NOTE: Place the sensor immediately after
cleaning and check whether it works using
the test button.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the cover to
clean the inside of the sensor. This will affect
thewarranty.
WARNING!
Use only recommended batteries. Using dif-
ferent batteries can seriously damage the
sensor. As a precaution, it is recommended
to replace the batteries once a year.
