SAFETY CHECKLIST:
Always wear safety goggles and hard toe
shoes when operating this equipment.
 
Never place any part of the body in front
of the spray tip or aim the gun toward
any part of the body. Keep all people
(except operator) a minimum of five (5)
feet away from the machine during
operation.
Never let the pressure washer run
unattended even for a brief moment.
Turn off the engine when the machine is
to be left unattended.
Only use or operate the machine on level
ground. Do not use on unsupported,
elevated surfaces (for example, ladders).
Never allow children or inexperienced
operators to operate or repair the
pressure washer.
Make certain that the high pressure
nozzle located at the end of the wand is
clear of obstructions.

High Pressure Surface Cleaner
Model # SCW 2.4/25G (Jarvis)
 
Tool Application:
The SCW 2.4/25G High pressure surface cleaner is used for outdoor residential
cleaning jobs – decks, driveways, sidewalks, porches and courts. The included
wand can be used to clean curbs and stairs.
Pressure Washing Tips:
Once the garden hose has been connected to the high pressure surface cleaner
and the water turned on, start the unit, stand behind the unit and pull the trigger
bar and walk slowly to start washing the surface to be cleaned, to avoid striping
overlap the cleaning paths. Use the included wand to clean corners, curbs and
stairs.
 
Tool Operation
Step
Check the oil levels in the pump and engine before starting the

unit.
Check inlet filters, remove debris, then connect the garden hose
2
to pump water inlet.
Connect garden hose to the cold water source. NEVER use
3
hot water.
CAUTION: Do not run pump without water or pump damage
4
will result.
Squeeze the trigger bar to eliminate trapped air, and then wait for
5
a steady flow of water to emerge from spray nozzles. Do not start
engine until water flows freely.
Slide the fuel lever to the ON position. (When the engine is not in use,

leave the fuel valve in the "OFF" position.) 
Move the choke lever to choke position (see picture below). On a
7
warm engine, leave the choke lever in the run positon.

Turn the engine switch to the RUN position.
Pull the start grip and cord to start engine, If engine doesn't start, pull
9
trigger gun to release pressure and try again. After the engine has
started, slowly slide the choke lever to the off position.
Proceed to clean the area to be washed. To use the wand to clean
corner, curb or stairs, remove the wand from the holder and
10
engage the trigger while hold the wand and trigger gun with two
hands.
To turn the engine off turn the engines switch to the off position.
If you need to refuel, let the unit cool for 5 minutes before adding
11
gasoline. If the engine is warm, it is not necessary to turn on the
choke.
When you are finish and ready to return the unit, wash the unit down
12
with a hose and wipe clean with a rag, refill the fuel tank with gasoline.
