3. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
• Unplug the product before cleaning.
• The product must be cleaned only once it is cool.
• Use a soft non-abrasive cloth slightly dampened with water to wipe the working
surface.
• Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the handle of the curler.
• The product should not be stored while hot or plugged in. When not in use, allow
the curler to cool, then simply store in the box and out of the reach of any children
in a safe, dry location.
• Never wrap the cord around the curler. This could cause the cord to wear prema-
turely and break.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of
two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes
to repair or replace any parts to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of
our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used
in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired
or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse. This guar-
antee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic
items, bulbs, etc. If the product does not work and it is the reason for returning it and it is
within the guarantee period, please also show the guarantee card and proof of purchase.
