Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
b)
Only mild detergents designed for cleaning food contact surfaces may be used
to clean the unit.
c)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
d)
Perform regular inspections of the device for technical efficiency and any
damage - check the tightness of screws, the condition of the cable, the housing
and the safety chain every month.
e)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
f)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. a wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning, as these may damage the surface of the material from which the unit
is made.
g)
When servicing equipment suspended from a balancer, coil the cable all the
way back to avoid sudden jerks of the cable due to sudden load changes.
Whenever possible, service equipment removed from the balancer.
h)
Check the condition of the equipment for damage and/or wear and its
operation at least once a month.
