8. Dismounting, return and disposal
DANGER!
Danger to life caused by electric current
Upon contact with live parts, there is a direct danger to life.
▶ The dismounting of the instrument may only be carried out by skilled
personnel.
▶ Only dismount the instrument in an unpowered state.
WARNING!
Physical injury
When dismounting, there is a danger from aggressive media and high
pressures.
▶
Wear the requisite protective equipment (see chapter 3.6 "Personal
protective equipment").
▶ Observe the information in the material safety data sheet for the
corresponding medium.
▶ Only dismount the instrument in an unpowered state.
1. Loosen the PG gland
Insert the screwdriver into the opening of the protection cap and turn it slightly to
release the spring clip while lifting and holding the protection cap. Repeat this on the
second opening.
2. Remove the protection cap.
