Cleaning the window
The glass is self-cleaning: while the stove is in operation, a veil of air flows along its surface, limiting the deposit of ash and
dirt. However, after a few hours a grayish patina will form, which can be cleaned off when the stove is turned off for the first
time. The blackening of the glass also depends on the quality and quantity of pellets used.
The glass must be cleaned when the stove is cold with non-aggressive products intended for this purpose. When this opera-
tion is carried out, always check the condition of the seal and replace it if necessary.
A very effective way to clean the glass: dampen a cloth, dip it in the ash, and use it to clean the glass. Then wipe with a dry
cloth.
Cleaning the outer parts
To clean the metal parts of the stove, use a soft cloth moistened with water. Never use alcohol, diluers, petrol, acetone or
other degreasers.
Annual maintenance
A maintenance must be carried out once a year by a specialized technician. This must include:
• Control and cleaning all fans
• Cleaning the smoke evacuation circuit
