Getting started with the SinuPulse Elite

Please ensure you have read and understood the instruction in the full User Manual. This Quick-Start
Guide is provided for quick reference but does not replace the User Manual. If anything is unclear or you

Water pressure and flow velocity are governed by a dial on the front of the unit. For the standard sinus
nozzle, adjustment between 4 and 6 is recommended, wetting through the sinus spray nozzle and use
with medically recommended additives is preferable with a parameter use between 2 and 4. Important:
make sure that the hydraulic pressure before each use is adjusted slightly or when replacing the rinsing
nozzles. Hold the flushing nozzle of the appliance above the sink and away from your face, allow time to
adjust the water pressure and hydraulic pressure before inserting the nozzle into the nostril.

Press the button until the unit turns on (you must hear a small click). The LED display lights up. Press
again until you hear a click to turn off. To temporarily stop the flow of water during use, press the Pause
button on the handle.

Keep the flushing nozzle away from your face above the sink. Begin with the lowest setting and then
slowly increase the pressure until the water is about 2.5 cm from the standard nozzle before placing the
nozzle against your nostril.

Put your tongue on the palate. This facilitates the flow through the nose instead of the mouth.

Carefully insert the nozzle into one nostril and lean over the sink. (See Fig. 1 on page 7 of the complete
user manual).

Turn on the power button or release the pause button to begin the flow of water. The solution is now
entered through one nostril, rinses the nose and sinuses and will flow through the other nostril. (See Fig.

Set the pressure to the desired force.
9.
When using with the irrigation nozzle, contine until the liquid coming out is clear (about 250ml and
/ or half water tank). When applying with the fogging nozzle for humidification or light cleaning, it is
recommended to use less solution (about 30ml), because of the fine drizzle. To rinse and moisten, block
your nostril with the mist nozzle and let it flow through the nostrils. Use the mist for humidification until
the dry sinuses are wet again.

Turn off the SinuPulse Elite ®.
11.
Remove the nozzle from the first nostril and repeat the process for the second nostril. If necessary, fill
the water tank.
12.
Put the nozzle back in the support.
13.
Dry your nose well once you have finished rinsing it. To avoid pressure on your eardrums, do not block
your nostrils completely.
14.
Suspend the nasal wash when your sinuses are free or as directed by your doctor
