SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Descaler product for espresso machine
To use it, please read your machine's user manual carefully.
• Causes burns to the skin and serious lesions to the eyes. Avoid all contact with
the skin and eyes.
• Keep out of children's reach.
• Wear protective gloves, eye protectors and protective clothing.
• Store in a closed container.
• IN THE EVENT OF CONTACT WITH THE EYES: Rinse carefully
with water for several minutes. Remove the victim's contact lenses if
they are wearing any and if they may be removed easily. Keep rinsing.
• IN THE EVENT OF CONT ACT WIT H THE SKIN (or hair): remove
contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse the skin with water / shower.
• IF SWALL OWED: Rinse mouth. DO NOT make the person vomit.
• Call a POISON CONT ROL CENT RE or a doctor immediately.
European number 112.
• The machine's warranty is guaranteed only if the machine is descaled
regularly (every 6 months).
• For your safety, make sure that you follow the instructions in this user manual.
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS
The water system of the EOH machine must be de-scaled regularly in
order to guarantee optimum operation. De-scaling is therefore essential
and required every 6 months, or if the de-scaling warning light
comes on (central orange indicator, every 750 coffee cycles).
De-scaling instructions:
B Start by removing the scale filter from the tank, and then add at
least 0.5 litres of fresh tap water to the tank.
C Add the de-scaling solution to the tank (1 full bottle). Make sure
no liquid is spilled outside of the tank (add a protective surface
under and around the machine if necessary, de-scaling solution is
corrosive and could damage any surfaces it comes into contact with).
D Replace the coffee pod with the plastic pod (supplied with the
machine) and close the coffee unit using the machine handle.
