9 Cleaning and maintenance

For hygienic reasons, clean the outside and
inside of the appliance, including
accessories and interior fittings, regularly.
Before carrying out any maintenance and
servicing work, disconnect the appliance
from the mains power supply.
ATTENTION
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
• Improper use of the appliance can
result in damage.
• Switch off the appliance and remove
the plug from the plug socket before
cleaning.
• Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
• The appliance is not dishwasher
safe.
• Never immerse the appliance in
water.
• Never clean the appliance with a
steam cleaner. Moisture could get
into electrical components.
• Do not use abrasive or aggressive
cleaning agents.
• Do not use abrasive sponges.
• Essential oils and organic solvents,
e.g. the juice of lemon or orange
materials. These vessels can become
damaged and cause injury.
Do not operate the blender for more than
10 minutes at a time. After 10 minutes,
pause until the appliance has cooled down.
1. Clean the attachments (6 and 5)
before first use.
2. Push the whisks or dough hooks
into the slots until they engage
securely and audibly:
3. Insert the mains plug into a mains
socket.
4. To start the blender, set the speed
switch to the desired speed level.
You can choose between 5 speed
levels and additionally the turbo key
(see "Speed levels" section).
5. Press the eject button to release the
whisks or dough hooks.
For safety reasons, the whisks or dough
hooks can only be released when the
speed switch is in the "0" position.

containing acetic acid can attack
plastic parts. Do not allow such
substances to come into contact with
parts of the appliance.
ATTENTION
SHORT CIRCUIT!
Water in the housing can cause a short
circuit.
Never immerse the appliance in water and
make sure that no water gets into the
motor base.
