- You can splice other strips as long as they are of the same wattage and voltage. See the
maximum length allowed per feeder.
- All connections must be tightly sealed to avoid any short circuit hazard. In outdoor
installations, all connections must be sealed with silicone or other materials that guar-
antee their watertightness. The well-sealed strip withstands contact with water (rain,
splashes ...), but is not submersible.
- Do not install strips underwater or in flammable or explosive environments. The work-
ing environment must have good ventilation to prevent overheating and deterioration
of the LED strip.
- During installation and fixing, do not use metal material such as metal staples to hold
the strip, in order to avoid misplacing accidents on the strip, causing short circuit.
- Remember to check if the electrical installation where you are going to connect the
led strip, complies with the specific voltage and power of the LED strip. You can also
connect a safety device to safeguard the installation from overvoltages.
- Do not wrap or cover the LED strip when it is turned on. The strip must be installed in
an environment that can properly dissipate the heat generated to avoid damage to it.
- If you find any damage to any part of the belt, you must discard that section to avoid
accidents.
- Avoid dropping and hitting the equipment as it could be damaged. Check the equip-
ment if any of these occur.
WARNING:
1. The supply voltage of this product is DC 12V. Never connect to DC 24V or AC 220V.
2. Never connect two wires directly in case of shortcircuit.
3. The lead wire should be connected correctly according to the colours that the connect-
ing diagram shows:
