TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The CD will not play
No sound/power
Poor radio reception
Possible cause and solution
Make sure that the device is in CD mode. Press the
Mode button several times to change the mode.
Remove the CD from the CD tray and check for
scratches and marks. Damaged CDs cannot be played
by the radio, may skip tracks or may not spin properly.
Check whether you have inserted an original audio CD
or a copy. Often copies cannot be played.
Increase the volume using the Volume + button on the
unit or the Vol. + button on the remote control.
Check if the sound has been muted. If the sound has
been muted, briefly press the Mute button on the
remote control to reactivate the sound.
Headphones may be connected. Either listen to music
through the headphones or pull the headphones out of
the headphone jack.
When playing music from an external device via the BT
connection or via AUX-IN, increase the volume of both
the external device and the radio.
Check that the mains socket has power and that the
radio is in standby mode, if applicable.
Fully extend the cable antenna to ensure the best
reception and good sound quality.
Set the stations again.
Move the radio to another location to check if the
reception improves.
Check if there are other electronic devices that could
cause interference near the radio.
