CLEANING / REPLACING THE TIP (MODEL
2412194 ONLY)
If your spray pattern becomes distorted or is
i
inadequate, you may need to clean or replace
the tip or air cap.
Do not use any sharp, metal objects when
cleaning the tip.
Attention
1. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
2. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
3. Remove tip guard.
4. Press the tip out of the air cap by hand. Clean with
appropriate cleaning solvent and a soft-bristled brush
until all paint residue is removed.
5. Replace tip into tip seal.
6. Fit the air cap onto the tip, making sure that the location
flats are in line.
7. Replace tip guard.

UNCLOGGING THE TIP (MODEL 2412194
ONLY)
1. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
2. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
3. Unscrew tip guard and remove air cap.
4. Remove clogged tip from the air cap, reverse it and replace
it into tip seal.
5. Fit the air cap onto the tip, making sure that the location
flats are in line.
6. Replace the air cap and tip guard onto the spray gun.
Tighten tip guard by hand.
7. Switch the material and air pressure back on.
8. Remove trigger lock and briefly trigger the spray gun onto
a scrap piece of wood or cardboard. This should blow out
any tip obstruction.
9. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
10. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
11. Unscrew tip guard and remove air cap.
12. Remove tip from air cap and reverse tip again so it is in the
spray position. Fit the air cap onto the tip, making sure
that the location flats are in line.
13. Replace the air cap and tip guard onto the spray gun.
Tighten tip guard by hand.
