CONTROLS
The display will always default to show SET temperat ure.
When t he air condit ioner is t urned on, it will automat ically st art in t he last mode and fan set t ings selected.
FROST PROTECTION FUNCTION:
In cooling or dry mode, if t he temperat ure of t he exhaust
hose is too low, t he AC will automat ically go into a unit
protect ion st ate.
OVERFLOW PROTECTION FUNCTION:
When water in t he water pan exceeds t he warning level,
t he machine will automat ically sound an alarm, t he FULL
indicator light will flash and t he unit will shut down. At t his
point , you need to drain t he water from t he lower drain (See
Drainage inst ruct ions for det ails)
AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING (on some models)
The machine has an automat ic defrost ing funct ion.
PROTECTION FUNCTION OF THE COMPRESSOR
To increase t he service life of t he compressor, t he AC has a
3- minute delay after t he compressor has shut off to protect
t he compressor.

DRAINAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Draining t he unit manually:
Note: Please move t he AC carefully, do not spill t he water in
t he water pan at t he bot tom of t he unit .
1. When t he AC stops after t he water is full, t urn off t he AC
power and unplug t he power plug.
2. Place a water cont ainer larger t han t he sump capacit y (at
least 1- 1/ 2 quart ) below t he lower rear water out let on
t he back side of unit .
3. Remove t he plug, t he water will automat ically flow into
t he cont ainer.
Note : During drainage, t he body can be t ilted slight ly
backwards. If t he water cont ainer cannot hold all t he water,
before t he water cont ainer is full, replace t he water plug as
soon as possible to prevent water from flowing to t he floor or
t he carpet .
4. After water has been drained from t he unit , re- inst all t he
water plug securely.
Note : Rest art t he AC after t he water plug is inst alled,
ot herwise condensate water from t he AC will drain onto t he
floor or carpet .
Cont inuous drainage (opt ional, and only in dry mode)
1. Remove t he upper drain plug.
2. Connect a drain hose wit h an inside diameter of 5/ 8" to
t he water out let .
3. Route drain hose to a bucket or floor drain.

When t he temperat ure rises to a normal temperat ure, t he
unit will automat ically resume normal operat ion.
After t he water is empt ied, t he machine t he machine will
automat ically resume normal operat ion.
4. Be sure to use a large cont ainer (3 gallons or larger is
recommended) and monitor t he water level in t he cont ainer
cont inuously. The unit will not shut off when t he cont ainer
is full. An overflowing cont ainer can cause flooding and
damage to t he floor.
