Caution! Always use spanners or adjustable spanners to connect the gun to the unit. Do not use pliers.
Screw the pressure gauge to the connector on the unit and then connect one of the hose ends to the pressure gauge then using
a spanner, screw the hose nut to the outlet connection of the unit (II). Attach the free end of the hose to the spray gun by screwing
the hose nut to the inlet connection of the gun. Use two spanners for screwing: one to hold the connection of the gun and the
other to tighten the hose nut (III).
Connect the suction hose to the connection at the bottom of the unit, press the snap made of wire, insert the hose connector into
the socket and release the pressure on the snap so that it locks the hose connector in the socket (IV). Additionally, connect the
drain hose by sliding it onto the housing connection and then secure the connection with a spring clamp (IV).
Screw the strainer onto the end of the tube connected to the suction hose. It is forbidden to use the hose without the installed
strainer.
Control elements of the product
Unit operating mode switch (V). The switch allows for setting it in two positions. Vertical positioning of the switch lever allows
for draining of the coating material that is inside the device. The switch should always be set in this position during work breaks.
The horizontal positioning of the switch lever allows for spraying the coating material with the gun. Each operating mode has been
described in further sections of this instructions manual. Do not set the switch in intermediate positions.
Pressure control knob (VI). Turning the knob increases the amount of sprayed coating material. Turning the knob clockwise
increases the pressure of the coating material and turning it anticlockwise decreases the pressure of the coating material.
Gun trigger lock (VII). It allows for locking the trigger to prevent unintentional pressing. If the lock knob is set parallel to the trigger,
the trigger is unlocked and can be pressed. If the lock knob is set perpendicular to the trigger, the trigger is locked and cannot be
pressed. The trigger should be locked whenever the nozzle is replaced or the gun is not used.
Spray gun nozzle knob (VIII). The knob allows for disassembling the nozzle for replacement. The knob is marked with the arrows
with the "SPRAY" and "EJECT" inscriptions. Setting the knob so that the arrow with the "SPRAY" inscription faces the same direc-
tion as the outlet of the coating material allows spraying the coating material. Setting the knob so that the arrow with the "EJECT"
inscription faces the same direction as the outlet of the coating material allows for its cleaning and disassembly.
Electrical power switch (IX). The switch allows for turning the unit on and off . Setting the power switch to the position marked
"I – on" will turn on the unit. Setting the power switch to the position marked: "O – off " will immediately turn off the unit. During
operation, the unit must be set in such a way that the power switch is always easily accessible.
There is a fuse button underneath the power switch. In case of overheating of the device, the fuse will cut off the power supply to
the product and the button will slide out of the housing. In this case, move the power switch to the "O – off " position, wait for the
device to cool down completely, then press the fuse button and restart the device.
Caution! Fuse tripping can be caused by nozzle clogging, stopping of the coating material fl ow or coating material with too high a
viscosity. Before restarting, fi nd out the fuse tripping cause and eliminate it.
Caution! Attempting to turn the device on immediately after the fuse has been tripped especially without removing the cause leads
to a signifi cant shortening of the device service life.
Connecting the unit to the mains
Caution! Always connect the unit to a socket equipped with an earthing conductor.
Caution! The connection system must be equipped with a residual current circuit breaker with a tripping current of not more than
30 mA.
The gun will be earthed through a properly connected hose. Earthing of the container with coating material should be carried out
by a qualifi ed specialist in accordance with local requirements.
Make sure the power switch is in the following position before connecting the unit to the mains: "O – off ". The gun trigger remains
locked against unintentional pressing. Set the pressure adjustment knob to the lowest pressure position.
Connect the unit by plugging the power cord plug into the mains socket.
If extension cords are used to power the product, ensure that the wire cross-section of the extension cord is not smaller than the
wire cross-section of the product's power cord. The wire cross-section of the power cord is marked on the insulation of the power
cord. Only power cords equipped with an additional protective conductor may be used. Do not use two-wire extension cords.
When using extension cords longer than 10 m, the wire cross-section must not be smaller than 2.5 mm
. Do not use extension
2
cords that are longer than 50 m.
If retractable extension cords are used, they must be completely unwound before connection.
Preparing for spraying the coating material
The device is factory-fi lled with oil, which was used to check and maintain the device during storage and transport. Rinse the oil
