8. Tighten the fuel tank cap
securely after refueling.
9. Wipe spilled fuel from the
unit. Move 30 feet away from
refueling site before starting
engine.
10. Never attempt to burn off spilled
fuel under any circumstances.
11. To reduce the risk of fire and
burn injury, handle fuel with
care. It is highly flammable.
12. If fuel is spilled, do not attempt
to start the engine but move the
machine away from the area
of spillage and avoid creating
any source of ignition until fuel
vapors have dissipated.
13. Replace all fuel tank and
container caps securely.
14. Empty fuel tank into a container
approved for gasoline and
restrain the unit from moving
before transporting in a vehicle.
15. When draining the fuel tank,
use an approved fuel storage
container in a well-ventilated
area.
16. Select bare ground, stop
engine, and allow to cool before
refueling.

them frequently and use them
to instruct others who may use
this tool. If you loan someone
this tool, loan them these
instructions also.

Wear ear/ hearing protection when
operating this unit. Wear a face
mask or dust mask if the operation
is dusty.
1. Wear heavy long pants, boots,
gloves and a long sleeve shirt.
Do not wear loose clothing,
jewelry, short pants, sandals or
go barefoot. Secure hair above
shoulder level.
2. Use the unit only in daylight or
good artificial light.
3.
Avoid accidental starting. Be in
the starting position whenever
pulling the starter rope. The
operator and unit must be in a
stable position while starting.
