2.4 Safety of persons
• The instructions for operation, care and maintenance described in the operating instructions must be observed.
• Do not use the device if you are unwell or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
• A moment of inattentiveness when using the device can lead to serious injury.
• Store unloaded devices that are not in use in a dry and locked place inaccessible to unauthorised persons.
• Damaged or defective devices must be repaired exclusively by Kerbl Service.
Personal protective equipment
Hearing protection must be worn when working with the spring gun.
Wear protective goggles and a face protector if necessary when working with the spring gun.
Installation site
• Never set up the spring gun near public routes and spaces.
• The spring gun may only be used in places where there is no danger to humans or animals.
• Ensure that no unauthorised persons have access to the device once it is set up.
• Covering by means of a separately available protective cage is recommended. (Kerbl item 299798)
3. Description
The VoleShot spring gun is designed to kill voles quickly and in a way that minimises suffering by means of a pressure wave. The necessary
pressure wave is generated from a 9 x 17 mm cartridge.
3.1 Intended use
The VoleShot spring gun is intended exclusively for the control of voles and may only be used for this purpose.
The VoleShot spring gun is for outdoor use only.
Indoor use is not permitted and violates the intended use.
The safety information set out in these operating instructions must be complied with. Use of the spring gun in any other area shall be deemed
incorrect use. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any resulting physical and/or material damage.
