USE AND CARE:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before
each use.
- Do not use the appliance if the accessories
attached to it are defective. Replace them
immediately.
- Do not move the appliance while in use.
- Use the appliance handle/s, to catch it or move
it.
- Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and do
not turn it over.
- Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use
or connected to the mains.
- Do not cover the cooking surface or food with
aluminium foil and other similar materials.
- To keep the nonstick treatment in good condi-
tion, do not use metal or pointed utensils on it.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains when not
in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Store this appliance out of reach of children
and/or persons with physical, sensory or redu-
ced mental or lack of experience and knowled-
ge.
- Do not store or transport the appliance if it is
still hot.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all products' packaging has
been removed.
- Before using this product for the first time, it is
advisable to test it without food.
- Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
USE:
- Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
- Turn the thermostat control to the desired tem-
perature position.
- Close the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- The power and ready light will come on, indica-
ting that the appliance has begun preheating.
- It will take approximately 5 minutes to reach
baking temperature, the ready light will goes off.
- Open the appliance put the sandwich, meat or
other foods on the bottom cooking plate.
- Close the appliance. The ready light will go on
again.
- Cook about 3 to 8 minutes, the ready light goes
off again, or adjusting the time to suit your own
individual taste.
- During the appliance's use the pilot light will
come on and off automatically, indicating the
heating elements are working, and therefore
maintaining the desired temperature.
- When the food is to your taste, remove it from
the appliance with the help of a wooden spatula
or similar heat resistant implement; do not use
utensils that could damage the nonstick coating.
- Once you finished cooking, disconnect the plug
from the wall outlet and leave unit open to cool.
- In order to minimize the generation of acrilamida
during the cooking process, avoid to reach dark
brown colours on the foodstuffs.
USE AS OPEN GRILL (FIG. 1)
- Upper plate/cover is level with lower plate/base.
The upper and lower plates line up to create
one large cooking surface. The appliance to this
position, locate the hinge release lever on the
right arm (fig, 2).
- With one hand on the handle, use the other one
to slide the lever toward you. Push the handle
back until its cover rests flat on the counter.
The unit will stay in this position until you lift
the handle and cover to return it to the closed
position.
- Use the appliance as an open grill to cook
burgers, steak, poultry (we do not recommend
cooking bonein chicken, since it does not cook
evenly on an open grill), fish and vegetables.
- You have the option of cooking different types
of food on separates without combining their
