BOIlING tIMe PrOlONGatION
Pressing the key & again, you access the
BOILING TIME PROLONGATION mode. A timer
is displayed.
Pressing the keys < and > sets the seconds
after which the appliance is automatically shut
off after reaching the boiling point.
The prolongation time can be set from 3 to
6  seconds. Maintaining the corresponding key
pressed the value changes continuously.
This feature is only available if the temperature
adjusted previously is at least 95 °C.
For further settings press the key & until the
desired logo is displayed.
To exit the settings press the key
This will save your settings and start the boiling
process.

CLEanIng anD CaRE

1. allow the appliance to cool off before cleaning
it.
2. Before cleaning, always turn the appliance off
and unplug it from the wall socket.
3. Do not immerse base, lead cable or kettle
jug in water or other liquids or wash them in
the dishwasher.

DEsCaLIng

1. The anti-scale filter has to be cleaned
regularly. Please empty the kettle jug
completely and allow it to cool off. Carefully
remove the filter from the spout. Clean
the filter carefully with a soft brush under
running water. You may also place the filter
in a bowl with a descaling solution. Rinse
the filter with clear water and insert it in
the spout.
2. To maintain the appliance's life cycle and
performance, it should be descaled regularly
according to the hardness of the water in
your area.
3. For descaling fill half the kettle jug with a
solution of water and commercial vinegar
in equal parts. Bring the liquid to boil and
leave it in the kettle jug for a while.
4. Pour the descaling solution away.
5. Then fill the kettle jug with fresh water and
bring to a boil. Pour this water away as well.

4. Clean the base and the kettle jug with a
damp cloth and some washing-up liquid. Do
not use any abrasive scrubbing agents, steel
wool, metal objects, hot cleaning agents or
disinfectants, since they can damage the
appliance.
5. The appliance must be completely dry on
the outside before using it again.
Then rinse the kettle jug at least twice with
clear water.
6. You may also use commercial descaling pro-
ducts following the corresponding instruc-
tions for use.
