Preparation
1. Battery installation remote control:
Switch the power button on the bottom of the remote control to "OFF" before installing the batteries. To insert the
batteries, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote control with a suitable screwdriver. Insert one
9V alkaline battery (6LR61) and close the cover again.
2. Battery installation city scooter:
Switch the power button on the seat of the scooter to "OFF" before installing the batteries. (Fig.1) Open the battery
compartment on the bottom of the motor scooter with a suitable screwdriver, insert four 1,5V AA Alkaline batteries
(LR6) and close the cover again.
3. Please push the button on the back of the scooter (Fig.2) to take off the device to hold BABY born® and put it around
the dolls waist. Now you can place BABY born® on the seat provided so that the seatbelt leads through the legs.
Afterwards please fasten the seatbelt. (Fig.3) Please take care that the holding device is locked back into place.
The BABY born® City Scooter will operate when the switch on the remote control and the motor scooter is switched to
the "ON" position. If there is no function between the remote control and the motor scooter, move the remote control
closer to the motor scooter to determine the best communication between the two. The average range is 10m.
Functions
Push the left control button forwards to let the BABY born® City Scooter drive forwards. Pull it backwards and the scooter will reverse.
Keep the left control button pressed while moving the right control button to the left or right and the scooter drives in the
corresponding direction. (Fig.4)
Adjust the fine tune steering lever located under the steering column to keep it moving in a straight line. (Fig.5)
Cleaning:
The BABY born® City Scooter can be cleaned with a damp (not wet) cloth. Please ensure that no moisture enters the
electronics or battery compartment.
All about batteries/rechargeable batteries:
Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
Use only the type battery recommended for the unit.
Batteries must be replaced only by an adult.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
Do not short-circuit batteries.
When not used for an extended time, switch button to "OFF" position for longer battery life time. We also recommend
to remove batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste collection point.

Disposal according to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive). All products marked with a crossed
out wheeled bin cannot be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste. Their collection must be done separately. Return and
collection systems in Europe should be organized by collection and recycling organizations. WEEE-products can be disposed
of free of charge at the appropriate collection points. The reason for this is to protect the environment and human health due
to the potential effects of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

Le scooter Baby born® est un scooter très réaliste sur lequel Baby born® peut facilement se déplacer à l'aide de la
télécommande.
Note
Le scooter devra être assemblé et nettoyé par des adultes uniquement. Le scooter Baby born® ne convient pas aux enfants
de moins de 3 ans. Conserver à l'abri de toute humidité. Le scooter rose roule avec une fréquence de 40 MHz, le bleu avec
une fréquence de 27 MHz. Attention : Utiliser le scooter uniquement sous la surveillance d'un adulte. Utiliser seulement les
accessoires Baby born® appropriés.
Installation
1.
Installation des piles dans la télécommande:
Tourner le bouton de la télécommande sur « OFF » avant d'installer les piles. Pour insérer les piles, ouvrer le
compartiment à piles à l'arrière de la télécommande avec un tournevis approprié. Insérer une pile alcaline 9 V (6LR61)
et refermer le couvercle.
2. Installation des piles dans le scooter:
Tourner le bouton sous le siège du scooter sur « OFF » avant d'installer les piles (Fig.1). Ouvrer le compartiment à piles à
l'arrière du scooter avec un tournevis approprié, insérer 4 piles alcalines « AA » de 1,5 V (LR6) et refermer le couvercle.
3. Merci de pousser le bouton à l'arrière du scooter (Fig.2) pour enlever le dispositif de maintien de BABY born® et le
