OPERATING INSTRUCTION
1)ASSEMBLY OF THE BENCH EXTENSIONS Fig. F
Before a aching the bench extensions, first remove the perforated base plate (you can now also remove
and discard the motor prot
aterials).
2)Once the bo om side is open, you can a ach the diagonal support struts to the bench saw.
3)Now a ach the bench extensions to the basic bench top. Next, a ach the extensions to the diagonal
support struts.
4)Once all the extensions have been assembled, re-a ach the base plate (taking care that all extensions are
perfectly lined up with the basic bench top itself).
5)Lastly, a ach the guide rail (with ruler) to the front edge of the bench top.
Assembly of the bench saw on the workbench Fig. B & C Before adjus
removed from the socket.
Fig. B shows the distance of the holes to be drilled in the workbench on which to fasten the machine. Drill
holes of 6.5 mm.
Only use the machine a er it has been assembled completely and it has been screwed onto the
workbench or the frame.
1)Fig. C shows the part to be sawn out (340 x 80 mm), so that the sawdust can fall through it and piling up is
prevented! Only if you do not use an extr
2)Fasten the machine with bolts.
3)If the frame is used, it must be fixed on the floor with four screws and the machine must be fixed on the
frame with four screws. Check the screws before switching the machine on.
2)ASSEMBLE UNDERCARRIAGE Fig. G
1)Turn the machine upside down.
2)Remove the black plas
om plate by unscrewing the 6 screws. (Fig. G-1).
3)Unscrew the adjus
knob on the front and
(Fig. G-3).
4)Now place one by one the uprights in the casing of the sawing bench (Fig. G-4).
5)Secure the uprights with 4 screws using a screwdriver, do not complet
6)Fit the 4 support bars, do not complet
7)Fit the black plas

8)A ach the rubber feet under the uprights (Fig. G-7).
9)Turn the machine into an upright
on a flat surface and adjust the machine so that it stands in a

3)ASSEMBLE BRACKET/PUSH STICK.
1)A ach the 2 brackets onto t he casing of the sawing bench and scre
2)Place the push s
rackets.
4)ASSEMBLY AND ATTACHMENT OF THE RIP FENCE Fig. D
1)A ach the aluminium fence (A) t
2)Now you can a ach the complete rip fence to the bench top.
3)Slide the rip f
4)Adjust the
on of the aluminium fence profile (A) such that the end corresponds to the rear edge of
the saw.
5)ASSEMBLY OF THE RIVING KNIFE AND THE PROTECTIVE CAP Fig. E
1)Turn the saw blade completely upwards.
2)Remove the bench inlay.
3)Assemble the riving knife on the set-up for this purpose and use hereby the Allen screws and the filling
rings. Ensure that the riving knife falls properly into the opening (= groove).
4)Now put the inlay back in the bench and fasten it.
5)Now assembly the prot

Now lay a lath against the saw blade and the riving knife and check whether it falls properly into the
extension of the saw blade. If this is not the case:Loosen the fastening bolts and place or remove the
filling rings.
1)Above the saw table the radial distance between the riving knife and the toothed rim of the saw blade
shall not at any point exceed 5 mm at the depth of cut set.
fe shall not be lower than 5 mm from the tooth peak, as shown.
6)ASSEMBLY OF THE SAW BLADE
First remove the plug from the mains before the saw blade is assembled or replaced.
1)Remove the inlay from the bench. Use a screwdriver for this purpose.
2)Turn the saw axle completely upwards. Remove the nut and the outside flange from the saw axle.
3)Now slide the saw blade over the saw axle and now put the outside flange and the nut back. Tighten the
nut by hand.
4)Now use the 2 keys: one for the flange and one for the nut and now clamp it.
5)Now put the inlay back in the bench and fasten it.

rs
Mount both push s
rs on the side of the machine using the bolts and rings supplied.
7)USE OF THE MITRING SET-UP FIG.A
A By turning the handle at the side of the machine you can adjust the saw blade to a maximum of 45° (4).
8)OPERATION
There are two types of sawing methods:
1.Lengthwise sawing : Sawing the workpiece in the length of the wood grain.
2.Cross-cu
ff : Sawing off the workpiece crosswise.
3. If it concerns a panel, we do not usually dis
where we saw off a part of the width of the panel (lengthwise sawing) and when we cut off the length
(cross-cu
ff).
For both sawing methods one of the fences must be used. Therefor never saw without a fence! A en
Before you start sawing, first check the following:
1. Is the saw blade secured?
2. Are all the locking handles secured?
3. Is the fence parallel to the saw blade?
4. Is the prot
ve cap working properly?
5. Are you wearing safety goggles?
6. Is the saw blade not rubbing against anything?
It is absolutely necessary to take these points into considera
Lengthwise sawing
1.Secure the fence to the corr
2.Turn the saw blade approximately 2 mm higher than the total thickness of the wood to be sawn.
3.Press the wood lightly towards the bench and let it glide against the cut-off fence.
Remain at least 3 cm. from the front of the saw blade before you switch on the engine. The side of the
wood which is against the fence must be completely straight. Keep your hands at least 10 cm away from
the saw track to be followed.
1.Switch on the engine and wait un
the saw blade has reached the maximum number of rev
before you start sawing.
2.While you press the wood against the bench and the fence, you can carefully push the wood through the
saw blade without forcing it.
3.Never pull the workpiece backwards. If necessary, switch off the engine first without altering the
of the workpiece.

This method is pr
cally the same, except that the saw blade is placed at the angle required.
With this type of method the fence may only be along the righthand side of the sawblade. Lengthwise
