Piping

You will only be able to take advantage of the maximum efficiency of your appliance if the chimney is also
efficient. Before installing your appliance, make sure that the chimney is clean and unobstructed. If it is not
easy to verify, ask for a technician.
Both the height and the pressure drops in the chimney are directly related to their draw, so the pipe must
have the most rectilinear trajectory possible or if it is not possible, never use angles of more than 45º with
the vertical - In the first 2 meters of piping there should be no curves.
It is also ideal that the exhaust duct shall pass through the interior of the building thus ensuring better
thermal insulation, so as to avoid the unwanted condensations caused by temperature differentials, which
may, sooner or later, deteriorate the system. The piping should preferably be in stainless steel and
thermally insulated throughout its length in order to avoid condensation phenomena that will deteriorate
the installation (It is not recommended the use of exterior flue ducts or ducts without insulation).
